
At-Risk Pregnancy Program
Provides education and counseling to pregnant women and new moms. The goal of this program is for the clients to experience a healthy pregnancy, delivery, and equip them to care for their newborn child. This program works closely with the WIC program, and a nurse travels to WIC satellite clinics around the county.
The services provided include:

Connecting the client with an obstetrician or pediatrician

Education about healthy behaviors during pregnancy and the risks of unhealthy practices.

Referrals for chemical dependency

Smoking cessation services.

Breastfeeding.

Assistance with arranging travel to doctor's offices.

Referrals for emergency housing.

Newborn visit with information on immunization clinics and other newborn needs.
