About the Tattoo and Body Piercing Program

Sharps disposal unitThe Licking County Health Department licenses and inspects tattoo and body piercing establishments to reduce the risk of disease transmission.  The goal of this program is to assure that anyone performing tattooing or body piercing procedures follows safety and sanitation standards established by state law.
