At-Risk Pregnancy Consultations
A
nurse provides education and counseling to pregnant women and new moms. The goal of this program is for the clients to experience a healthy pregnancy, delivery, and equip them to care for their newborn child. This program works closely with the WIC program, and a nurse travels to WIC satellite clinics around the county.
Free pregnancy testing and counseling by a nurse are available to low income and teen women. The at-risk pregnancy program helps women to prepare for childbirth and to make sure that they have access to medical care while they are pregnant.
Our nurses can help women get enrolled in Medicaid, WIC, Help Me Grow and other programs for low income, teen, and first-time moms.
