2013 Change Gears: Ride a Bike - Ride for Your Health Saturday, June 1 Come participate in the fourth annual community bike event to promote physical activity and use of the T.J. Evans bike trails. The event will take place on Saturday, June 1, 2013. Check-in will be available at two locations. The primary check-in location will be at the Newark campus of Central Ohio Technical College and the Ohio State University at Newark (COTC/OSU-N)- adjacent to the bike trail. A second check-in site will be located at the west end of the T.J. Evans Trail in Johnstown. Check-in will begin at 8:00 am and staff will remain on-site until noon. There will be distance rides, a bike skills rodeo (COTC/OSU-N location only) and healthy snacks. Everyone is invited to participate, including families and long distance bikers. Join Screening & Survivor Support (SASS) for Breast Cancer and We’re Active Licking County (WALC) to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Pink Strides- 5k Trail Run & Wellness Walk on the 3rd Saturday in October. Everyone is invited to participate in this walk and run throughout Infirmary Mound Park (4309 Lancaster Road/ State Route 37) in Granville. See pictures from past events!
